We invite you to go hiking in the High Tatras. This trip is suitable for both beginners and those looking for a challenge. The hikes will be flexible for everyone, so both beginners and experienced hikers can enjoy the beautiful mountain trails. We will hike through the Five Lakes Valley, the Slovak Paradise and climb the peaks of Kościelec, Giewont or Kasprowy Wierch. A travel guide will be on hand to provide useful advice and help you through the various challenges of the trail, ensuring your safety and experience. During the period we can expect to have some snow, so we will make you an introduction of the winter hiking gear. We will be staying in the same accommodation every night, so you won’t need to bring all your belongings, just the essentials for the day’s hikes. We will also have a sauna at the hostel to help you relax after a busy day of hiking.
Day 1:
In the evening, we leave Lithuania and head towards the mountains at night.
Day 2:
We will arrive at around 4am, sleep until 11am and head to the Slovak paradise. We will go on a radial hike and cover between 10 and 16 km, depending on your fatigue after the trip. The route includes trails with platforms and ladders, and we will enjoy a variety of landscapes – forests, cliffs and waterfalls.
Day 3:
On the second day, you will hike to the top of Kościelec (18 km, 1,310 m uprising) or Kasprowy Wierch (16.4 km, 1,169 m uprising), depending on your choice. Koscilec requires more physical endurance, while Kasprowy Wierch is a slightly easier route, but both hikes offer stunning mountain views.
For those who want an even easier route, we suggest the atlernative, Lake Gasniecowa, where the hike will be easier.
Day 4:
On the third day, there is a hike to the valley of five lakes. The hike will be only 14 km with 700 m of ascent. The hike will take in the Siklava waterfall and the mountain lakes. We will have lunch in a mountain lodge in a picturesque location.
Day 5:
We leave home early in the morning and arrive in Lithuania in the evening.
