An active 4-day trip in Italy created for those who love mountains, active leisure, and adventure. Each day we will hike and climb via ferratas, enjoy breathtaking views, and actively explore the Lake Como region. The trip takes place in a small group, with a clear yet flexible plan adapted to weather conditions and the group’s abilities. This trip is suitable for physically active people who want to try via ferratas for the first time or further develop their skills.
Day 1:
Flight Vilnius – Milan Bergamo (Ryanair). We travel to Lecco, where we will stay for the entire trip.
After a short rest, we head to an easy / moderate Morcate via ferrata (A/B). This scenic route runs horizontally along a rock face above Lake Como and is a perfect introductory climb for the first day.
After the hike, free time by the lake. Depending on possibilities, there is an option to take a boat trip or visit Bellagio or other towns around the lake.
Day 2:
This day features a longer and more physically demanding route – the Monte Coltignone – Piani dei Resinelli (GER) via ferrata. The total distance is approximately 11.4 km. The route follows mountain ridges and exposed sections, offering impressive views of valleys, mountains, and lakes. An excellent choice for those who want to combine hiking and via ferrata in one day.
Day 3:
On the third day, we take on a more technical route – Ferrata Corno Rat 30° OSA. The approximately 9.8 km trail leads through steep rocky sections to the Corno Rat summit. Good physical fitness and comfort with exposure are required. At the top, we are rewarded with spectacular views of the Lombardy mountains and Lake Como.
Day 4:
On the final day, we complete the trip with Via Ferrata Gamma 1 – Piani d’Erna.
A moderate route (~6.1 km) featuring metal ladders and exposed sections.
After the hike, we travel to Milan Bergamo Airport for the return flight Bergamo – Vilnius.

Additional information:
Previous via ferrata experience is not required but is an advantage. Safety procedures and basic technique will be explained before each route.
Some routes are exposed and take place at height; therefore, the trip is suitable for participants without a strong fear of heights.
Group size: up to 9 participants.
Accommodation in apartment or guesthouse in the Lecco area.
The itinerary may change depending on weather conditions, safety considerations, and the physical abilities of the group.
