Join us on an unforgettable journey through the French and Swiss Alps. During this active week, we’ll enjoy spectacular hikes – ascend to the Grammont peak overlooking Lake Geneva, reach the stunning Lac Blanc while walking a part of the famous TMB trail, and visit La Jonction, where two glaciers meet. We’ll also explore the scenic Salfante Lake and the Dailley waterfalls. After adventurous days, we’ll relax in a cozy mountain chalet. On lighter days, we’ll visit the charming cities of Geneva, Lausanne, and Montreux.
Day 1:
Flight Vilnius–Geneva.
We’ll arrive in the first half of the day and take a relaxed walk around Geneva. Those who wish will have the opportunity to take a boat ride on Lake Geneva. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to our mountain chalet in the village of Châtel, located between France and Switzerland, where we’ll spend the entire week.
Day 2:
On Sunday, we’ll set out on a scenic hike to the Grammont peak (2,172 m). From the summit, breathtaking views open up over Lake Geneva and the surrounding towns. On the way, we’ll stop by Lake Taney, where we’ll have time to rest and take a refreshing swim.
Day 3:
We’ll hike to Salfante Lake in the Swiss Alps, stopping along the way to visit the Dailley waterfalls. At the lake, we’ll grill sausages and also have the opportunity to take a swim in the clear water.
Day 4:
On the fourth day, we’ll explore the surroundings of Châtel. For those interested, there will be an opportunity to try the via ferrata at Saix de Miolene. The route has four different exits, allowing anyone who isn’t afraid of heights to choose a section suited to their abilities. After the via ferrata, we’ll relax in Châtel or enjoy an easy hike near the chalet.
Day 5:
Day five will be dedicated for a rest day and city exploration in Lausanne. We’ll visit the historic old town, the Olympic Museum, the cathedral, and many other sites around the city. From various viewpoints, we’ll enjoy stunning panoramas of Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains. Additionally, we’ll take a trip to the nearby city of Montreux.
Day 6:
Today we’ll hike a scenic section of the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB), reaching the Lac Blanc (White Lake). Along the hike, we’ll have incredible views of the Chamonix Valley and the Montblanc Massif.
Day 7:
We’ll take on the La Jonction hike, a route with a 1,500 m ascent leading to the meeting point of the Leschaux and Bossons glaciers. The hike offers breathtaking mountain views and a unique opportunity to see the glaciers up close.
For those preferring a lighter but still rewarding day, there is the option to take the Aiguille du Midi cable car up to 3,842 m, offering close-up views of Mont Blanc and the glaciers, followed by a walk around the Chamonix town center.
Day 8:
We’ll travel back to Geneva Airport for our return flight.
If the flight is scheduled for the afternoon, there will be some free time in the city before we depart for home.
