We would like to invite you to an unforgettable trip to Tenerife – the island where mountains, the Atlantic Ocean, volcanoes, and unique Canary nature meet all in once. During the week, we will enjoy a well-balanced program: hiking in the Anaga National Park, different valleys, volcanic trails… we will enjoy a sunrise on Spain’s highest peak – Mount Teide, relax at Las Teresitas beach, and visit various island towns. This journey is for those who want active holidays with some rest from your daily life and opportunity to discover the local culture. Tenerife will surprise you with its diversity of landscapes, and the program will allow you to discover the island in all its faces.
Day 1:
Arrival in Tenerife, evening walk near our accommodation, dinner, and rest after the trip.
Day 2:
On this day, we will head to one of the most beautiful places on the island – Anaga National Park, where there will be an impressive ~16 km circular hike along the coastline and mountains. This route will reveal the wild northeastern coast – cliffs, the waves of Atlantic Ocean, and local villages. Anaga is often called the “Hawaii of Europe” due to its greenery views, and this hike, together with the scenic drive to the starting point, will allow us to experience this unique corner of Tenerife.
Day 3:
After a longer hike, we will recover our strength by exploring the northern part of the island. We will stop in La Orotava, famous for its old Canary architecture, wooden balconies, and historic old town. Then we’ll continue to Puerto de la Cruz – a resort town with palm trees, a promenade, a botanical garden, and natural beaches. The day will end in Garachico, a town once destroyed by lava flows, now known for its natural pools. This will be a more cultural and relaxed day, perfectly timed before the night hike to Teide. Alternatively, instead of towns, there will be the option to visit Loro Park.
Day 4:
At night, we will start our most challenging hike in the Teide National Park. We will hike up to the summit of Mount Teide (3,715 m). There, we will watch an unforgettable sunrise above the clouds before descending back down.
The rest of the day will be dedicated to relaxation at home or on the beach.
Day 5:
In the morning, we will visit the mountain village of Masca, considered one of the most beautiful in Tenerife. From there, we’ll drive to El Molledo and set off on a hike through a gorge towards the town of Los Gigantes. Along the trail, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and the massive Los Gigantes cliffs. In the evening, we’ll have dinner in Los Gigantes.
Day 6:
After two intense hiking days, we will take time to recover. We’ll enjoy an easy 5–7 km walk in Anaga National Park’s forest, have lunch, and later relax at Las Teresitas beach. On the way back, we may make a short stop in Santa Cruz.
Day 7:
On the final day, we’ll go on a volcanic hike near the town of Vilaflor. Since this is the last day, there will be an option to choose between a shorter or longer hike from 7 to 16 km. We will walk on lava-formed trails and admire Teide’s views from below – an experience that feels like being on another planet.
Day 8:
