On the days 13-20th May come and join a unique chance to visit one of the most untouched lands in the world. The Faroe Islands are a true dream for hiking lovers. The green landscape, rugged peaks, valleys and cliffside waterfalls, made the Faroe Islands one of the most beautiful countries in the world. During the 7 days trip, we will discover the main attractions of the island and challenge ourselves with different types of hikes. We will be staying 7 nights in a seaside house with a great view of the ocean and a jacuzzi to relax after the long days of hiking.

Day 1:

Flight in the early morning Vilnius-Copenhagen-Vagar operated with SAS.

Upon arrival, we will stop at a grocery shop and take a short hike to explore the area near our accommodation.

Day 2:

On wednesday we will have a picturesque hike between Saksun and Tjornuvik villages. We will also explore the Saksun lagoon and in total we will walk a distance of 12 kms with ~500m of elevation gain. The trail will reach the mountain Melin, which is 764 meters above sea level. From here there will be beautiful views of the lake and the sea.

Day 3:

For the first part of the day we will visit the largest town in the country and the capital Torshavn.

For the second part of the day we will have a scenic 10kms hike in the area of Vestmanna. We will have the possibility to jump in some waterfalls, we will visit two separate lakes and enjoy many spectacular views on the way.

Day 4:

On this day we will be traveling to the most northern point in the country and we will be hiking near Hvítahamar, a scenic viewpoint in the Faroe Islands, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding fjords and mountains. We will do a hard hike with 850m of elevation gain to the peak of Villingardalsfall (841m).

Day 5:

On this day we will take the ferry from Keflivik to the island of Kalsoy. In the area we will hike to the Kallur Lighthouse, known for the James Bond movie and outstanding views everywhere you look around. Afterward, we will visit the statue of the seal woman, located in the village of Mikladalur. Once we will enjoy the views we will take the ferry back, make a hike around Keflavik and spend some time in the town.

Day 6:

On Sunday we will have an easy day where we will have a chance to go on a boat trip, or fly with a helicopter to another faroese island (Mykones). We will try to spot some puffins and enjoy the beautiful seaside cliffs.

We will also try to know more about local culture and try some local specialities.

Day 7:

On this day we will have two separate hikes, both are a must see in the islands.

Gasadalur is a picturesque village on the Faroe Islands, known for its cliffs and the stunning waterfall that flows directly into the ocean. Surrounded by steep mountains, we will have a close up view of the area.

After it we will head to Sørvágsvatn, a unique lake that appears to float above the ocean due to an optical illusion created by its elevated location and the surrounding cliffs. The contrast between lake and sea is a must see and the hike it self is relatively short (5kms with a small elevation gain)
