Day 1:

Play Airlines flight Vilnius-Reykjavik arrives at 23:30. We will drive to our sleeping location near Selfoss.

Day 2:

We will start the day with a visit to Kerid crater, one of the most visually stunning geological wonders in the country. After that we will keep driving up until we reach the Great Geysir. We will have a chance to see the water eruptions from the ground that can go up to 70 meters.

For the second part of the day we will try the natural hot springs and will enjoy the evening in the town of Selfoss.

Day 3:

On this day we will have a 200 km drive on the southern coast. On the road we will stop at the breathtaking waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. We will also visit the abandoned airplane wreck which is the icon of Iceland tourism and the Reynisfjara beach with a black sand and a unique stone formation. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in all the country.

Day 4:

We will keep driving in the southern part of Iceland, starting with the Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon which will give us a new type of landscape. We will then have a short hike to the Skaftafell waterfall and we will continue our adventure with a magical lagoon filled with icebergs that have broken off from the nearby glacier. Nearby we will stop at the Diamond beach full of ice cubes on a black sand beach.

Day 5:

We will be hiking in Landmannalaugar Rainbow Mountains. This area is a must see in the country and we will spend the day hiking and visiting several natural spots like waterfalls, rivers…

Day 6:

On Thursday we will drive in the Thórsmörk Valley, a green oasis surrounded by glaciers and mountains. It offers various hiking trails with breathtaking views, and we will take a 4×4 car to get the full experience of it. Another option is Hekla, one of Iceland’s most active volcanoes.

Day 7:

On this day we will explore the coast of Snæfellsnes and if the weather conditions are favorable, we will try to spot the whales at the sea.

Day 8:

We will spend our morning in the capital town of Reykjavik and we will then have our flight home. Also on that day we can try the spa in the blue lagoon.
